How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who you talk to
Say you send a request about a leaking pipe. The next voice you hear is usually an independent provider from our network, not a Russellchampionship Plumbing employee on a repair crew.
We do not do plumbing work. The provider you speak with runs their own business and makes their own call on what the job needs.
What happens next
You describe the problem. The provider asks a few questions: where the water is, whether you can shut it off, how old the pipes are. Then they explain what they can do and when they might be available.
Availability differs from one provider to the next. Many can respond quickly, but ask for a real window instead of assuming.
What to ask an independent provider
Ask before you hire. A short list helps:
- Are you licensed and insured for this work in VA?
- Can I get a quote in writing before you start?
- What could change the price once you see the problem?
- Is there a trip or diagnostic fee?
- Will you explain the repair before you do it?
A good answer is specific and calm. It names what is included and what might cost more.
Red flags
Be careful if someone:
- Refuses to put the price in writing
- Demands full payment upfront
- Pushes a big job without showing you the problem
- Cannot say who is covered if something goes wrong
You can say no and talk to another provider.
You are in control
A referral is not a contract. You decide whether to hire, wait, or compare. Typical U.S. costs vary by job, so a written quote is your strongest tool for judging a fair price.
